While in Amsterdam, I wanted to visit the Moco Museum as I knew artwork by the artist's Banksy and Roy Lichtenstein where being exhibited.

Banksy's exhibition "Laugh now", was located upstairs and also with a lot of coverage downstairs too. A lot of his iconic art was displayed including Bomb Hugger, Kids on Guns and Soup Can. Girl with Balloon was also exhibited there which is a very popular piece of Banksy's and one that I personally was very exited to see as I have known this artwork specifically for quite a few years after first seeing it in school.

I feel that I can take some inspiration from Banksy's work in terms of his prints which I would like to experiment with my own material in the future and edit photos in this manner.

Roy Lichtenstein's exhibition "Lasting Influence", was focused more downstairs and towards the end of the tour of the venue. Lichtenstein too, is another artist who inspired me in school and one that we studied so I was overwhelmed by finally getting to see his artwork in person. Of course the iconic 'girl' prints were included on the walls, but there were also mirrors that allowed you to see them no matter which way you were facing. It was a whimsical experience especially when I got to one of the final pieces which was a 3D room installation. Lichtenstein had created this based on his painting; "Bedroom at Arles" which I found out that he painted with the inspiration of Van Gogh's; "The Artist's Room at Arles".

I think that seeing some of Roy Lichtenstein's work in person, has gave me more knowledge of contrasting bright colours which I can continue to create work with as I have been recently moving on from my black and white prints and injecting more vibrant colours into my artwork.
