Memories (4) C Road to H Road (3)

Moving forward from the 2 images and 2 videos that I took, I have decided to overlay the images onto the videos to create a more abstract final look. I first needed to turn both of the videos into black and white as well as adjusting the contrast and brightness so that even when the photos are overlaid, no detail will be lost. As well as this, I have had to lower the opacity of the images in order for the overlay to be successful and that both the video and the image will be seen clearly.

I have took the first image of the Carisbrooke Road sign and overlaid that on the videoed walk from C Road to H Road. The second image of the Hylton Road sign is overtop of the footage from H Road to C Road. The 1st edit fades into the 2nd so that when I exhibit the final piece, I can loop the playback so that it is an ongoing journey.
