Memories (6) House on Fire (1)

For my final show, I have been thinking about material that I could use which will move on from my "Memories" series of artwork while still keeping with the theme.

Another event that I want to shed light on from my past is from 17 years ago. We had a house fire where I currently live and it was a huge incident that had an effect on my family, as there was a lot of damage left to then clean up. We also had to live in a hotel for a month after and basically rebuild a lot of the home that we had lost.

My Mam took a lot of photos from that day and time, enough to place in a photo album that she has kept until this day. I feel that looking through this album is the best way to start my final piece of artwork.

I am going to create some edits with these found photos in the manner that I normally use to my images.
